Small forward, Otto Porter Jr will miss at least four more weeks with a broken foot for the Chicago Bulls.
According to NBA.com:
“Chicago Bulls forward Otto Porter Jr. will miss at least another month because of a broken left foot that was initially diagnosed as a bruise.
The Bulls said the injury was confirmed by Dr. Bob Anderson, a foot and ankle specialist who examined him Monday. The team said the small fracture became clear after repeated imaging over the past five weeks, and Porter will be re-evaluated in four weeks.”
Porter is averaging 11.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game. Porter has been somewhat underwhelming in the time he has been available for the Bulls. This is Porter’s first full season with the Bulls after he was traded at the trade deadline by the Washington Wizards last season in exchange for Jabari Parker, Bobby Portis, and a 2nd round pick.
Porter has quietly navigated as one of the most efficient and lethal shooters from deep in the league but hasn’t gotten it going so far this season. Hopefully Porter can comeback healthy for the Bulls because they really miss his floor spacing and scoring ability with him out with injury.
